Hi friends,
I hope your year is off to the start you want. I found my way back to Mexico, to the beauty of Baja, to dance in 2026 with my dear one Annie Parr and her family. This time Javi and Joaquin joined me, and it was a gift beyond gifts to begin our year together. I felt such deep connection and gratitude for what 2025 initiated in me (CHANGED MY BIO TO “DANCER”), and the sense that together we are carrying this vision and movement into the year ahead.
I want to share a small taste of this movement with you and hope it inspires you to explore how it feels in your body, in your own way. Whether you consider yourself a dancer or not at all, it doesn’t matter. Let this be imperfect. Let it be a meditation, a gentle consideration around transformation. Allow the body to lead and let the mind rest for a minute.
I’m excited to explore more around the upcoming Lunar New Year, moving from Wood Snake to Fire Horse. What it feels like. What it’s asking of us. What stays, what goes.
I think I have a little more snaking to do before I horse, but I’m close.
